Meet Your Guide Dee

I’m Dee—mama of three, master’s-level health educator, NYBG instructor, certified yoga teacher, and the creator of Moon and Seeds.

This is more than a program. It’s a learning circle where your child is seen, supported, and celebrated—where their voice matters, their spirit is honored, and their joy is central.

I’ve spent years guiding wellness for families, writing grants for community healing, and homeschooling my own little ones with rhythm, nature, and care. I created Saturdays With the Earth because I know how hard it is to do it all—and how deeply our children (and we) need safe, sacred outdoor spaces to breathe, move, and just be.

Many think spaces like this don’t exist in the Bronx—but I’m here to show our littles (and ourselves) that the opposite is true.

This isn’t just a class.
It’s a love offering—for our kids, our nervous systems, our ancestral wisdom, and our future.

I’m honored to hold space for your family.
Let’s grow something beautiful together.

Meet Grandma Shelley

Shelley aka Grandma - is a retired nurse, and gentle presence for everyone around.

She brings years of experience in caregiving, a calm presence, and a soft laugh that kids instantly love. Whether she’s handing out snacks, helping tie a shoe, or simply sitting close while little ones settle, her care is quiet but powerful.

Having Grandma on site means more love, more safety, and more heart in the space.
