WHY do we spell it ALkHEMY?

The word "alchemy" comes from the Arabic phrase "Al-Khemia", which means "the land of Khem". Khem refers to the fertile black soil found in the Nile River delta of Egypt. At Noble Alkhemy, we pay homage to the originators of this mysterious royal art.

At Noble Alkhemy, our mission is to provide individuals with the tools to transform themselves using quality workshops, art, events, products, and services. Assisting people discover their true potential and cultivating a strong sense of self is what we strive for.

As members of the Bronx community, we place great cultural importance on where we live. It continuously inspires our creativity, nourishes our spirit, and strengthens our family bonds. We believe in building a vibrant community by utilizing the arts and wellness to enhance people's lives. By forging alliances with other local organizations, companies, entrepreneurs, and artists, were able to make a greater impact in serving our community.

Given the challenges the Bronx faces such as, crime, poverty, poor health, and limited access to quality food, we make it a point to collaborate with local businesses and organizations. Partnering with other like minds, we are able to strengthen and uplift our communities by giving it the support it truly needs to succeed.

NOBLE DRE ALI

Founder and Creative Director of Noble Alkhemy, Dre Ali is an international visual artist, educator, and multidisciplinary creative.

Known for his signature Spiritual Pop Art style, Dre blends popular culture with sacred symbolism—bridging the ancestral and the modern in bold, thought-provoking ways. He teaches at One River School of Art and Design in Larchmont, where he shares his passion for artistic expression with the next generation.

Dre holds a 3rd-degree black belt in martial arts, brings 25+ years of experience in the culinary arts, and is a certified Reiki II practitioner. His creative journey is rooted in the belief that expanding his artistic horizons only deepens his mastery across mediums—be it canvas, kitchen, or community.

MOON MEDICINE MAMA (DEE)

Dee Davis is a health educator, wellness guide, and co-founder of Noble Alkhemy and Noble Academy.
With over 20 years in the health field and a master’s in Health Education & Promotion, she blends ancestral wisdom with holistic practices to support healing on every level—mental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural.

A certified yoga teacher, NYBG instructor, and homeschooling mama of three, Dee offers wellness coaching, yoga, herbal food medicine, and custom curriculum design for families seeking rhythm, connection, and joy.

She is also a co-creator of 3 of Cups, a sister-led collective rooted in sacred storytelling and community healing.
