Teaching Artist & Cultural Alchemy Programs

At Noble Alkhemy, we hold a fundamental belief: creative expression is the forge where young people shape their identity, build unshakable confidence, and learn to care for their community.

This overview reflects my work designing and facilitating enrichment and residency-based creative programs across after-school, school-based, and community learning environments.

Artistic Alchemy is a Bronx-based program serving schools and community institutions across the region. Designed for grades K–8, with age-appropriate adaptations for upper elementary and middle school students, the program supports student engagement through culturally relevant, interdisciplinary learning.

Programs integrate visual art, embodied movement, and cultural literacy to help students develop focus, discipline, creative skill, and a strong sense of identity. Through structured, hands-on projects, students learn to work with intention, practice persistence, and take pride in both process and outcome.

Program Offerings:

In-School Residencies

Multi-week artist-in-residence programs integrated into the school day. Residencies combine visual arts, movement-based discipline, and cultural themes aligned with curricular goals. Programs may culminate in collaborative projects such as murals, comic series, or visual storytelling installations that reflect student voice and school identity.

Cultural Workshops

Short-format workshops or mini-series designed to bring cultural learning to life through art and movement. Sessions may include comic illustration, visual storytelling, or movement-based narrative practices that make history, heritage, and identity accessible and engaging for students.

Youth Creative Development Programs

After-school or community-based programs focused on sustained creative practice and personal growth. Over multiple weeks, students explore visual arts and movement principles to build discipline, confidence, and positive outlets for expression within a structured and supportive environment.
