WHY do we spell it ALkHEMY?

The word "alchemy" comes from the Arabic phrase "Al-Khemia", which means "the land of Khem". Khem refers to the fertile black soil found in the Nile River delta of Egypt. At Noble Alkhemy, we pay homage to the originators of this mysterious royal art.

We believe healing and growth do not require constant striving or transformation. Instead, they emerge through presence, care, and listening. Noble Alkhemy exists to offer tools, experiences, and creative work that help restore balance, support the nervous system, and encourage a slower, more embodied relationship with life.

NOBLE DRE ALI

Founder and Creative Director of Noble Alkhemy, Dre Ali is an international visual artist, educator, and multidisciplinary creative.

Known for his signature Spiritual Pop Art style, Dre blends popular culture with sacred symbolism—bridging the ancestral and the modern in bold, thought-provoking ways. He teaches at One River School of Art and Design in Larchmont, where he shares his passion for artistic expression with the next generation.

Dre holds a 3rd-degree black belt in martial arts, brings 25+ years of experience in the culinary arts, and is a certified Reiki II practitioner. His creative journey is rooted in the belief that expanding his artistic horizons only deepens his mastery across mediums—be it canvas, kitchen, or community.

MOON MEDICINE MAMA (DEE)

Dee Davis is a health educator, grant manager, and co-founder of Noble Alkhemy, an interdisciplinary wellness and education practice rooted in ancestral knowledge, cultural memory, and embodied care. Her work explores how rhythm, sound, movement, and ritual function as pathways for healing, learning, and connection within everyday life.

With over two decades of experience in the health field and a master’s degree in Health Education and Promotion, Dee integrates holistic wellness, yoga, herbal food medicine, and curriculum design to support mental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural well-being.
