Summer 2019 at Basquiats Bottle Brooklyn, NY

This exhibition focused on 2 of my popular BK Icons; Biggie Smalls and Jean Micheal Basquiat. I creatively reimagined both as an Enlighten Buddha and Samurai. I created 10 original pieces for this exhibition on a multitude of mixed mediums ranging from: Machete swords, NYC Train maps, Digital Illustration Prints, Collaging and 3 wooden panels. I enjoyed pushing my creative limits and working on new mediums. Through this process I found new ways to make some very dope art. This was my 3rd time exhibiting at Basquiats Bottles which is a very dope establishment with a great vibe. Bed-Sty Brooklyn NY is highly supportive of the arts.

During the preparation for this exhibition I lost my muse ChiChi to cancer. I was able to transmute my pain of her loss into beautiful art.
