Submit a health questionnaire 24 hours prior to boarding a flight to Dominica and await clearance:https://domcovid19.dominica.gov.dm/
Upon arrival a rapid antibody Covid blood test will be done at the airport.
On day 5 or 2 days before your departure, a Covid PCR test is done and the cost is $63 per person. This test is required for departure from the island. The result is usually available within 48 hours. The resort will coordinate the test for you and it is conveniently done right on the property, by a medical team of the Ministry of Health.
“I’ve been on the island for three days and it’s tough to describe what I’m experiencing. This place is magical. The sounds, the smells, the people, the unspoiled landscape, it all feels a bit surreal. Getting here wasn’t easy. Dominica doesn’t have an international airport so there are no direct flights from the U.S. but connecting through San Juan and boarding a tiny plane to land in paradise was well worth it.

4. What is The “Safe in Nature” Program?
The Safe in Nature program is one that has been implemented by the Government of Dominica and the Tourism Sector in order to allow specific activities to all visitors (hikes, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, spa treatments, yoga, etc.), while the safety of guests, staff and the local communities likewise can be guaranteed.
5. What measurements are being taken at the resort due to COVID?
All the resort’s drivers, guides, and instructors have been Covid certified. Vehicles used for transfers and/or excursions are fully sanitized after every journey. The staff follows the strictest hygiene standards and hand sanitizer is always available. Staff and guests are asked to follow the following protocols: Report for a daily temperature check, wear a mask anytime in a public place and maintain social distancing.
6. How should I prepare for hikes?
Your shoes may get wet on some of the hikes; we, therefore, suggest bringing at least 2 pairs of shoes you are comfortable hiking in. Shoes need to have good grip as paths and rocks can be slippery. Therefore, we recommend wearing light, breathable shoes for the tropical climate such as trekking, running shoes, comfortable “amphibian” water shoes, or hiking sandals with straps (e.g. Keen, Teva).
7. Are there mosquitoes and other bugs at the resort?
No. The resort is on the southwest coast of Dominica with a slight breeze, which fortunately keeps the property cool and eliminates the bugs and mosquitoes.

Check in is 3.00 pm and check out is usually by 11.00 am. You can store your luggage before check in/after check out and you can use the facilities.
